Hi I'm Suzi. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, I now live in the beautiful Whitsundays, Queensland, and am fortunate to work with my passion, art. I sold my first oil painting at age 13, and have matured through many phases of mediums and creations over the last 25 years.

Living and working in Thailand with my husband in 1998 I discovered this fabulous technique using carbon powder and dry brushes that I now specialize in. Although I'd had experience using oils, air-brushing, graphite and coloured pencil, pastel and charcoal, being exposed to this local Thai method was a huge turning point for me as a portrait artist. Though I continued to favour pencils, the demand for my carbon powder portraits became dominant.

I'm passionate about my work and family, I am married with two daughters.
